Jeep Grand Cherokee 00 Water Leak Inside My '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee Has A Coolant Leak!!?

My '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee Has a Coolant Leak!!? - jeep grand cherokee 00 water leak inside

I replaced the water pump, hoses and radiator cap and drain my coolant yet, look under the hood, and you can see the moisture. My mechanic now says that I need to replace the head gasket. I correct or is there something else I should do first?

Maybe your mechanic is correct if you replaced everything else and can not find the source of leakage of refrigerant. The only other problem I can think would be a cracked heater core, and you probably leaking radiator fluid (maybe) in the cabin of the jeep.

Is there coolant in the oil or oil in antifreeze? If the head gasket was bad, I suspect that mixing different liquids.

Have you checked it carefully Radiator leaking?

Ask your mechanic, not a leak test consisting of a dye put into the coolant (even if) the refrigerant loppings special dye. The dye is similar to the dyes used for leaking pipes, leaking sewers, etc., shows where the leak. Sometimes it's just all the links can not be too strict, or somewhere in the coolant can be burned. If it costs a lot to see to what extend the warranty again and see what they have Jeep recalled for defects. You can also contact jeep with his problem and asked what is the common solution, if no mechanical work for jeep. Sometimes you can find what is the recurrent problem of vehicles in dealer's maintenance records.
I have an extended warranty 2006 Jeep, Jeep should my heating unit, which replaced at no cost, to remind myself. My friend has always extended warranty 1996 Jeep believes that if one vehicle, the last until you are ready to exchange them or as long as you want to keep hold of the item for a collector.

It appears that most people have already changed ...!

If you see a large leak, and it is through the head gasket, then certainly in a position to prevent the pollution of water in oil. This is usually indicated for oil is a milky color. Check the strength of his research at the filling hole with oil. If not, then probably not the head gasket. This is not 100% but 80% + indicator leaky head gasket.

How to lose? End of the engine running for 20 minutes without moving the vehicle can see another liquid under the car or below the warning level to?
