How to record PS3 gameplay in SD, while playing in HD? - i want to record my ps3 gameplay

I have a DVD recorder with HDMI output, and I want to use my PS3 recored games. But I will not play on my ps3 in standard definition. It is anyway my game in standard definition store, while I had allowed to play in HD?
